Set between Howick and Nottingham Road, Bosch Hoek Golf Course has been part of the Midlands landscape since 1963. Designed by Bob Grimsdell, this nine-hole, eighteen tee-box course offers a round defined by variety, balance, and quiet challenge.
Winding through established trees and gentle parkland, the course moves around a lake, across a stream, and alongside a still dam. Each hole reveals its own character, visually distinct yet thoughtfully demanding, rewarding precision and considered play.
Equally suited to regular golfers and those discovering it for the first time, Bosch Hoek offers an experience that feels unhurried, grounded, and true to its setting.
After your round, the clubhouse invites you to linger on the terrace overlooking the 9th / 18th green, with something cold in hand and the easy rhythm of the Midlands settling in.

Designed by renowned golf course architect Robert Grimsdell, Bosch Hoek is a reflection of both vision and respect for the natural landscape. Set on some of the Midlands' most fertile and nutrient-rich soil, the course has matured into what many consider to be one of the finest nine-hole golf courses in South Africa.
First-time visitors are encouraged to spend a few moments on the practice green before teeing off. Bosch Hoek's Bentgrass greens are known for their exceptional quality and pace, typically running between 9 and 9.5 on the stimpmeter. While they may appear gentle at first glance, their subtle movement and speed can take a few holes to truly appreciate.
