“Michael was attentive and very accommodating. A nice friendly man. We enjoyed also talking with Cyril. A young man with a good mind. We went to the golf club and enjoyed a super lunch, but the coup dé grace were the Fried Prawn Starters. Absolutely stunning, melt in your mouth, lightly battered with a texture that did not detract from the lovely soft prawn flavour. All the food was good and very well prepared. Friendly and informed staff. Highly recommended. Reminded me of a little place in Wales, just more beautiful. We had a long talk with the Golf Pro, at my age and to my disdain, I cannot remember his name, but what an interesting and inspiring fellow. Both his own journey through the golfing world, but also a little of the history of the place. Altogether a delightful experience.”
